Other Impredicible Accessories Packing list Inca Trail

Few other accessories which are necessary to have on the packing list for the Inca Trail to Machupicchu. For everyone to enjoy this wonderful trip!

  1. Camera and extra batteries as there are no charging points along the trail.
  2. Cash for tips for porters, guide and small purchases, access toilets at Machu Picchu, etc.
  3. Snacks Energy bars, mix nuts

A General First Aid Kit

Such as Insect repellent, hand sanitizer, Rehydration sachets, Tylenol, Imodium, band-aids, and Diamox for Altitude sickness

Toilette paper!: This is just as important as good shoes. One or two rolls should be enough. You should also pack some plastic bags, so you can bag up your paper and rubbish along the way (the porters carry rubbish in large bags). Many trekkers leave their papers on the trail after they relieve themselves, which is very uncool.

Basic personal Toiletries:

Prepare to embrace your grimy side – you won’t have access to a shower on the Inca Trail until day three, and the facilities aren’t particularly glamorous (you’re unlikely to have any hot water either).   We suggest packing a small towel, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, travel soap, and a packet of wet wipes very handy in lieu of a shower…

Swimsuit: you may need it in Aguas Calientes in a hot spring.
