G COVID-19 PERU TRAVEL INFORMATION
We at Tour Leaders Peru Travel Guide and Peru Luxury Guide understand that we are currently in unprecedented times. The government of Peru has now closed its borders until February 15th, 2021. We do not know if the government will reopen its borders by the 15th as mandated orders can change day by day.
With this said, ALL trips remaining in the months of April and May, have been rescheduled or refunded.
We have reached out to you and offered to reschedule your trip for any time this year or in 2021 without any cost to you. You may also choose to cancel for a full refund of your trip’s remaining balance along with $300 of the non-refundable deposit per person.
For all trips starting in June and onward, there is no current refund as of now but we do offer you the choice to postpone your trip to anytime in 2021 or 2022. If you do choose to cancel your trip before 5/15/21 your deposit remains non-refundable.

Many of Cusco’s beautiful National Parks, beaches are close but outdoor activities are currently open, and outdoor dining is available. & To protect both visitors and locals, all open businesses must follow the Safe Reopening Plan laid out by the Cusco City Hall.
Operations and hours at many businesses have shifted to ensure the safety of guests. We recommend verifying any business’ status directly with them before planning a visit, and we encourage all visitors to follow the guidance of our Safe Travel Pledge below.
Indoor dining is currently prohibited, and bars and breweries that do not serve food are currently closed. Events and other large gatherings are currently prohibited. Please note that travel across Peru and the border is currently only allowed for trade and essential purposes.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Machu Picchu Cusco so you can create incredible memories—safely.
