In the afternoon, we’ll continue our expedition to Ollantaytambo, a remarkable testament to the Incas’ urban planning prowess, with its narrow streets and picturesque canals seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings. Prepare to be awe-struck by the magnificent fortress of Ollantaytambo, adorned with breathtaking Incan terraces that offer unparalleled views of the Sacred Valley. As the day draws to a close, we’ll embark on a train journey to our next destination – the charming town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town. Rest assured, this is just the beginning of our extraordinary adventure.

The adventure continues with a second visit to the breathtaking Machu Picchu. We’ll begin early, taking the buses back up to the Citadel to experience it from a fresh perspective. This time, a private guided tour will enhance your journey, as our expert local guide leads you through the most captivating and historically significant parts of this ancient wonder. After the tour, you’ll have the freedom to explore, reflect, or simply immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings at your own pace.

Once our time at Machu Picchu concludes, we’ll descend to Aguas Calientes for a well-earned celebratory lunch at a charming local restaurant.

From there, we’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a private transfer to Cusco.

We anticipate arriving in Cusco by 8 PM, giving you the evening to unwind or explore the city’s vibrant charm on your own terms.

Our adventure begins at 4.30 am in Cusco, embarking on a scenic drive of approximately 3 hours to reach the trailhead. During our first stop, you’ll indulge in a delightful picnic breakfast while gazing at the majestic mountains. From there, we’ll embark on a 2-hour hike to reach the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain and also explore the enchanting Red Valley. Rainbow Mountain has gained widespread popularity as one of the most iconic day hikes, attracting hundreds of visitors daily. After immersing ourselves in the beauty of these natural wonders, we’ll return to your hotel in Cusco, expected to arrive around 6 pm.
