Ancascocha Trek to Machu Picchu is only offered by a few travel companies because it is so off of the beaten path. It is less traveled than the original Inca trail and is considered one of the “World’s Best Hikes” by National Geographic. Inca ruins and quantity villages are attractive aspects of this trek and the beautiful mountain views of the Cordillera Vilcabamba and Urubamba mountain ranges provide the opportunity to encounter dramatic landscapes.
